Overview

Lentaba Safari Lodge, sleeps 20 people in 10 secluded well-appointed thatch and stone chalets (5 luxury and 5 classics), placed within magnificent Indigenous gardens, the lodge merges into the surrounding bush. Each en-suite unit has a private observation deck to make the most of the views over the valley bushveld. The rooms at Lentaba are well-placed and spread out providing each room with privacy and great views of the valley below.

The main lodge is decorated and furnished in a traditional African safari style and boasts a large lounge, viewing decks, and a swimming pool.

The lodge provides suitable seating areas for guests to sit, unwind, and reflect – there are two decks with commanding views of the valley below and a waterhole.
Lentaba Safari Lodge boasts 3 fireplaces which add to the great safari ambience that Lentaba is well known for. The outdoor dining boma has a commanding view of the waterhole which is spot lit after dark for night game viewing. Alternative dining is hosted in the indoor dining room. Brunch is served al fresco on the main viewing deck. The overnight rate at Lentaba Safari Lodge includes accommodation, 2 safari drives (evening & morning), all meals, and all drinks whilst on safari drives.

Traditional safari-style stone & thatch chalets. Inside and outside ining areas. Luxury rooms are larger than Classic rooms and have a ball & claw bath as well as a shower.

No children under the age of 12 years at Lentaba Lodge.

Conservation Levy

R150 per adult per night. Nett and non-commissionable. This contribution is collected by Lalibela on behalf of the Lalibela Foundation. 100% of funds go towards funding various conservation and community upliftment projects.

Terms & Conditions

FIT (excluding Peak Season) - No deposit required. Full pre-payment no less than 30 days before arrival with: - 50% cancellation charge if cancellation occurs between 15 and 30 days prior to arrival; and - 80% cancellation charge if cancellation occurs 14 days or less prior to arrival - No cancellation charges will be levied in the case of a force majeure event (bookings that have been prepaid, will be refunded)
Group Bookings (14 pax or more) require a 10% refundable deposit to secure the reservation with the balance required 60 days prior to arrival: - 50% cancellation charge if cancellation occurs between 15 and 60 days prior to arrival; and - 80% cancellation charge if cancellation occurs 14 days or less prior to arrival - No cancellation charges will be levied in the case of a force majeure event (bookings that have been prepaid, will be refunded)
Peak Season FIT & Groups - 20 December to 10 January: - Lentaba Safri Lodge reserves the right to request full prepayment for Peak Season bookings no less than 60 days before arrival. - Lentaba Safri Lodge reserves the right to change these Terms & Conditions during this rate period. - Lentaba Safri Lodge reserves the right to move guests between lodges should circumstances require this.
