Mark’s Camp is a family-friendly lodge. Decorated in a relaxed Pan-African style, Mark’s Camp can accommodate up to 18 adults and 8 children. Each comfortably furnished suite has an en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning, and ceiling fans for those warm summer nights. All of the chalets open up onto your private viewing deck.

There are 3 room types at Mark’s Camp:

4 Standard suits that sleep 2 adults
3 Family suits that sleep 2 adults and 2 children under 12
1 Family suite that has 2 en-suite rooms as well as a lounge area – the suite can sleep up to 6 guests. One of the appealing features of Mark’s Camp is the abundance of birdlife which can be viewed from the rooms, pool deck (Mark’s Camp has two swimming pools), or central lounge area.

With a large waterhole in front of the lodge, it is not uncommon for guests to view an abundance of wildlife from the safety and seclusion of the Lodge. Mark’s Camp has an outdoor dining boma for fireside dinners and open-air brunches, as well as a gracious indoor dining area. The overnight rate at Mark’s Camp includes accommodation, 2 game drives (evening & morning), all meals and all drinks at Mark’s Camp, and on game drives.

Traditional safari-style stone & thatch chalets. Inside and outside dining areas. Family chalets sleep 2 adults & 2 children, the family suite sleeps 4 adults & 2 children and the 4 standard chalets can accommodate 2 adults and 1 child under 7 years.

Children UNDER 12 years sharing with 2 adults pay 50% of the adult rate
Children UNDER 2 years sharing with 2 adults are FREE

Conservation Levy

R150 per adult per night. Nett and non-commissionable. This contribution is collected by Lalibela on bahalf of the Lalibela Foundation. 100% of funds go towards funding various conservation and community upliftment projects.

Single Supplement

A 50% surcharge applies.

Additional 15% off your rate for bookings of 3 nights or longer.

Terms & Conditions

FIT (excluding Peak Season) - No deposit required. Full pre-payment no less than 30 days before arrival with: - 50% cancellation charge if cancellation occurs between 15 and 30 days before arrival; and - 80% cancellation charge if cancellation occurs 14 days or less before arrival - No cancellation charges will be levied in the case of a force majeure event (bookings that have been prepaid, will be refunded)
Group Bookings (14 pax or more) require a 10% refundable deposit to secure the reservation with the balance required 60 days before arrival: - 50% cancellation charge if cancellation occurs between 15 and 60 days before arrival; and - 80% cancellation charge if cancellation occurs 14 days or less before arrival - No cancellation charges will be levied in the case of a force majeure event (bookings that have been prepaid, will be refunded)
Peak Season FIT & Groups - 20 December to 10 January: - Mark's Camp reserves the right to request full prepayment for Peak Season bookings no less than 60 days before arrival. - Mark's Camp reserves the right to change these Terms & Conditions during this rate period. - Mark's Camp reerves the right to move guests between lodges should circumstances require this.
